It was a good long 6 months of dieting. I got down to my lowest ever of 8 % BF going on 7%. it was tough mentally. my lowest BW was 140 lbs. Despite being on a deficit, my squat and DL improved. Squat, 270 to 315 @ 141 and DL 340 to 360 @ 141.
Last time i FULKED. LOL i was drained from the mental aspect of macro/micro counting and was over the whole weighing food thing. I ate whatever i wanted. I went from 144 to 170 really quickly. I gain a bunch of adipose tissue however :/ although i don’t find losing weight particularly difficult, i don’t want to end up in that same position. Eventually, my leptin levels were through the roof. I wasnt hungry and the fact that i could eat whatever i wanted didnt really excite me anymore.
This time around, im going to reverse diet really slow. im talking about 1-2 lbs a month. fat gain is inevitable but not to the extent of fulking. I’ve learned my lesson :).
Starting Macros: 65/325/180
Routine: 5/3/1 with Hypertrophy emphasize accessory work with some DC Static reps involved.
Weak Areas to improve: CHEST, TRIS and LEGS CAN ALWAYS USE MOre SIZE!
